Winner of the cutest creature hunt

Here it is folks, evolution guided by man to produce the cutest animal ever born.
Yes, this is the cutest animal of all times, epochs, astral planes or alternate universes.
It's ancestors and  fellow canines lived by overpowering large prey, slaughtering and eating them.
In a small town in China, 20,000 years ago, a wolf stopped and watched a family of humans eating around a fire.
Normally wolves try to be invisible around humans.
But this first wolf thought "These creatures always have meat. And they aren't acting aggressively..."
One night the humans tossed the wolf a bone.
"Yes!" the wolf thought as he gnawed the bone.
Eventually the humans fed the wolf nightly, and occasionally pet the wolf.
The wolf had babies.
The mother died, and the pups were raised by people.
During the first generations the wolf pups were largely work dogs, though still wolves..
